Greetings and Welcome to another year at the Church of the Golden Light!

At the end of last year a large number of toys was placed under our Christmas Tree and these were gratefully accepted by the Auckland City Mission in early December and distributed to families in need..

An update on Church maintenance – at the end of last year we had 2 new front doors erected.

Years of weather had rusted the front gate pole which had stood for more than 50 years so Steve our lovely Hire A Hubby man came to our rescue with the where-with-all to enable the gate to be locked again and hopefully ast a further 50 years. .

On the 4^th of April 2018 our Church will be 89 years old and the Anniversary will be celebrated with a special Service on Sunday the 5^th April.  Glenys Lindsay will present the address and Golden Light Medium Gay-Ann Wood will give a demonstration of Clairvoyance. Come and join with us as we reflect on the founding of our Church by one very remarkable woman in 1931 – Mrs Philpott.

Our ANZAC service 2020 will take place on the 26th April with Glenys and Gay-Ann Wood – so join with us as we celebrate this special day.

Our annual fundraiser – our `Meet The Mediums` will be held in our own Church on the 25^th July with Mediums Clinton Arnold, Hettie Mentzer and Melody Allport and will be followed by a lovely afternoon tea – there will be a lucky number basket..

For the last few years we have collected cans of food for the Auckland City Mission and this year we will continue this charity drive in July and August. From 1 July cans pf food can be left in the Church Office

On September 27th we will hold our Animal Service with Melody Allport, so please diariise that date now and be sure to join us with your pets.
