Greetings and Welcome to another year at the Church of the Golden Light!

An update on Church maintenance – at the end of last year we had erected a canopy over the front door to help alleviate the rain entering and this year our project is to erect new Church front doors.

Our annual Cleaning Day was held on Auckland Anniversary Day and, anticipating continuing high temperatures, we started our work at 7.30AM. Eight members gave up the morning to clean — thanks to those who worked so hard.

On the 4^th of April 2018 our Church will be 88 years old and the Anniversary will be celebrated with a special Service on Sunday the 7^th April.  Glenys Lindsay will present the address and visiting Medium Kay Moore will give a demonstration of Clairvoyance. Come and join with us as we reflect on the founding of our Church by one very remarkable woman in 1931 – Mrs Philpott.

Our ANZAC service will take place on the 21st April with Glenys and Kay Moore – so join with us as we celebrate this special day.

Our annual fundraiser – our `Meet The Mediums` will be held in our own Church on the 20^th July with Mediums Clinton Arnold, Hettie Mentzer and Kay Moore and will be followed by a lovely afternoon tea.

For the last few years we have collected cans of food for the Auckland City Mission and this year we will continue this charity drive in July and August. From 1 July cans pf food can be left in the Church Office

On September 22^nd we will hold our Animal Service, so diariise that date now and be sure to join us with your pets.

 In January Warwick and Irene Harvey resigned from the Golden Light to pursue further interests and I am pleased to welcome Denise Bews to our Church Group of Glenys and Robyn Message.
