Our Beliefs
The energy within our Church is a true reflection of the love we have for one another and all who step inside its walls. Our love of our fellow man is foremost in our demeanour and we endeavour to spread the truths of survival after death, of spirit communion and healing by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
God/Jesus
Jesus taught of brotherhood, love, humility and service and this is the basis of Spiritualism as we know it today. We regard Jesus as an exemplar, not a Saviour as man has no saviour but himself.
Spirituality
The primary object of Spiritualism today is to prove the survival of human personality after death.
What makes Spiritualism unique is the evidence of survival after death that comes through mediumship. Whereas most religions preach an after-life as a hope, faith or belief, we maintain that any reasonable person can prove it for himself.
Bible
The bible is a key part of our service, and we believe, as the bible states, that Jesus developed his psychic faculties and was a supreme master of spiritual law. Did not Jesus predict his final week on earth that Judas would deny him? Did he not predict the resurrection as well? So Jesus teaching of brotherhood, love, humility and service is the basis of Spiritualism as we know it today.
Humanity
Jesus’s teaching of brotherhood, love, humility and service is the basis of Spiritualism as we know it today.
Salvation
The primary object of Spiritualism today is to prove the survival of human personality after death which is just a doorway to a new and wider life.

Hello Joan
Fannie Philpott was my great great grandmother, and I’ve only recently learned of her founding spiritual church and gifts as I find my own clairvoyance opening. I would love to connect – I am the daughter of Barbara, Grand daughter of Doreen Richardson… and live in the countryside in Tauranga. Xx
Hi Sarah
I am your great aunt as your mother Doreen and Sharon are my sisters
xx
Hi Joan
Hello yes you are my great Aunt as Doreen is my grandmother… Sharon has spoken to me a little about Fannie and her gifts however Nana doesnt wish to speak of it.
I would live to learn or know more about our heritage… do you feel comfortable talking about it or do you have these kind of gifts too?
