During the service of Sunday the 30th June a Naming Ceremony for two little girls – Ayla aged 6 and Bella aged 7 months was held.
Mum Patrice, granddaughter of church members Jan and Joe Walker, has attended church regularly in the past with Ayla (daughter of Patrice and Nick). Now in a relationship with Peter, Dad of Bella, Patrice wanted a Naming Ceremony for both girls and it was heart-warming to see all three parents participating in the ceremony.
The Ceremony focused on Ayla and Bella and also highlighted the importance of the family unit and our relationships with one another.
Following the service a celebratory cake was cut during a lovely afternoon tea.
