Our service on Sunday 1 April 2013 was twofold – to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ and also to acknowledge our 82^nd Anniversary of the Church (the actual date is 4^th April).

During this special Church service last Sunday we were entertained by a beautiful solo from one of our church member’s, Louise Williams, who sang her touching renditions of Ave Maria and Prayer.

Eve Higgins Life Member Church of the Golden Light with Minister Glenys Lindsay

This was then followed by a presentation made to our retired Minister of the Golden Light, Eve Higgins.  Eve is the only living Life Member of the Golden Light, and so only fitting that our current Minister Glenys Lindsay presented her with a beautiful framed certificate and acknowledged her Life Membership. What an amazing milestone!

Following the special church service Eve cut the special 82^nd Anniversary cake which was shared in our sumptuous afternoon tea.
