Our Service today was dedicated entirely to our late Minister Eve Higgins who died last September. In accordance with Eve`s work with her Church the bible reading highlighted service from Acts 27 and Hebrews 12. Next our visiting Medium Hettie Mentzer read from Silver Birch and devoted her address to Eve`s work with Spiritualism. This was followed by a special tribute to Eve by Glenys Lindsay detailing Eve`s 40 years of service to the Golden Light and a special presentation by Eve`s 2 daughters Sharman Topp and Melody Frascella who presented the Church with a beautiful framed photo of Eve and Eve`s Life Membership Certificate which will both hang in the social hall. At the conclusion of the service our large congregation enjoyed a sumptuous afternoon tea.
